Our Doctor:

Robert E. Hawkins, D.M.D.

Dr. Hawkins received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Purdue in Indiana. He continued at Washington University School of Dental Medicine. In order to further his education and training in oral surgery, he attended the Oral Maxillo-Facial Surgery Residency Program at Barnes Jewish Hospital through Washington University. Dr. Hawkins became the chief resident at Barnes Hospital in 1982. In July of 1983, he began his private practice.

Surgical Staff

Our surgical staff/dental assistants are both CPR Certified and DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification) Certified. They are extremely qualified and experienced in oral surgery and can answer any questions regarding your procedure, both pre-operative and post-operative. The surgical assistants work alongside Dr. Hawkins assisting during surgery. If you have any needs in the surgery room, they will be glad to help you.

Office Staff

Our front desk coordinator(s) is an integral part of the team. They work with patients and other referring dentist offices to schedule any and all appointments. Front desk staff is also CPR Certified and help the surgical staff when needed. They are qualified to answer most questions you may have, including questions about your dental insurance coverage. Any billing questions should be directed to the front desk, as they will help you to the best of their knowledge. We will work with you to make sure your claims are submitted to your insurance company and also collect your co-payments.
